Dumiso Dabengwa-I caught you red handed

AN OPEN LETTER TO MINISTER DABENGWA

Your behaviour reminds me of a CMED employee who refused to honour a request by a Government minister to give him fuel without following the right procedures. Why do you Ministers think you are more equal than us?

On the 8th of November 2006 at around 9.40 am,you personally appeared at the Scoop ice -cream shop(the outside sitting area) at Avondale shopping centre. On one of the tables was a man (Mr Chiseko) ,a Commissioner of Oaths who provides his services in this area.I don’t know why he conducts his business at this spot, and not in an office.

You wanted to certify a national ID card. And you didn’t have the original copy of that document.Mr Chiseko asked for the original document and you told him to just certify the document saying to him “NDINI NDAKAKUPA MASIMBA EBASA IRORI SAKA CHINGONDIITIRA.”Mr Chiseko then certified the document without you providing the original. You then walked away a few steps without paying for the service after which you came back and said to Mr Chiseko,”AH REGA NDIKUPE SOMETHING ”.You took a green $100.00 note and gave the man, then you went away.

The truth is your behaviour irritated me.I was sitting at the opposite table only about one metre from where Mr Chiseko was sitting.I almost bought the story when I said “This is unfair ,why should you have a Comissioner of Oaths certify your document without you showing the original copy”.If your memory is still as sharp (which I doubt ),I am the woman who was sitting on the table adjacent to Mr Maseko’s.Mr Maseko was not amused at all by your behaviour.

1.It’s not you who gave Mr Chiseko the powers to be Comissioner of oaths. It’s us the citizens of Zimbabwe who gave him the power he has because you are working for us.Stop taking your ministry job as if it’s your family business.

2.What kind of a leader are you?You publicly go corrupt and exercise your so called powers unnessarily.Stop breaking the same rules and regulations that you put into place. You should lead by good example ,especially in public.

3.Whatever the case maybe ,”Did you give Mr Chiseko the powers to certify documents without showing the originals?”

4.You are a citizen of Zimbabwe just like many of us and you are expected to follow and respect the laws that govern us.

5. Stop terrorising citizens and don’t encourage them to engage in behaviours that are against their work ethics.

6. Why did you go to a Commissioner of oaths who operates in the backyard? You gave me the impression that the document is somehow not legitimate.

Well, after you left I advised Mr Chiseko to refuse certifying your documents as long as you don’t show the originals.

I caught you red handed .Unanyara.

Viomak.

You give not because you have more than enough but because someone doesn't have enough.
